Description
This piece was composed in 2020-21 and premiered by Ben Roidl-Ward at the 2021 Virtual Symposium of the IDRS. This is a moderately challenging avant-garde piece consisting exclusively of extended techniques, including flutter-tonguing, multiphonics, and glissandi. The pitch complement is very limited, ascending only to C5. In addition to the solo version, it may be performed by two or three players in close canon, or with electronics.
