Description
These pieces all use themes or melodies by J.S. Bach that have been set in the manner of a typical prelude from a cello suite. Thus the texture is primarily one of continuous notes. The full range is used up to B4, and full breath is required as there are virtually no rests; the performer will need to be very flexible when phrasing. This is challenging music.
