Description
This piece was composed for Hans Samuelsson in Stockholm 1980 and premiered on January 21, 1982. It is atonal, and through-composed, with little development of ideas. The music is challenging, sometimes severely pointilistic, and covers the full range up to Eb5. A single multiphonic (with instructions) and a glissando are the only extended techniques required.
