Description
This moderately challenging piece was composed in 2021 and dedicated to Franco Perfetti. A note from the composer states that “This song is dedicated to all those people who, for the most varied causes, despite experiencing a state of psychophysical constraint, fight against injustices.” The music is atonal, primarily angular, and very rhapsodic. The full range is employed up to Eb5, and extended techniques include pitch-bending, glissandi, multiphonics, flutter-tonguing, singling while playing, timbre changes, timbral trills, tongue slaps, and microtones.
