Description
The music was commissioned by Ensemble musikFabrik through Kunststiftung NRW, and composed in 2012. It is dedicated to Alban Wesly and was premiered by him at the Studio des Ensemble musikFabrik’s “Fundsachen” on March 4. 2013. It is moderately challenging, with a range up to D5, and quite avant-garde. Extended techniques include multiphonics, harmonics, timbral trills, pitch bending and microtones.
