Description
This is a single movement pitch-centric work that features considerable rhythmic complexity within a flexible tempo. The technical demands are not extreme, although there is an ascent to D4, as well as significant disjunct motion. Overall, this is a challenging piece. In general, Levitt’s later bassoon pieces are less so.
