Description
This is a relatively easy reworking of the first movement of a work composed for tuba in 2001. It is a theme and variations, with a pitch-centric lyrical but somewhat angular theme, and various “character piece” variations, such as “Cartoon Music” and “Swing it.” The range ascends only to G4.
