Description

Composed in 1999, this is a revised and more accessible version of his 1973 sonata. While still somewhat avant-garde, extended techniques are limited to tongue slaps, flutter tonguing, and microtonal glissandi. The upper range limit has been reduced to C5 and, while the piece is still challenging, technical demands in general have been reduced.
