Description
This challenging piece was composed in 1995 and premiered by Franck Leblois on February 5 of that year. The language is freely atonal and mixes lyrical and very rapid technical passages, the former making frequent use of multiphonics, but no other extended techniques. Although the middle register is featured most prominently, the piece does ascend to D5.
