Description
This challenging work was composed in August of 1989. Each movement is atonal and based on small intervallic cells. It ascends to D5. The third movement uses the opening of Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps for its generative material. See Leslie Bassett's Metamorphoses for another example inspired by Le Sacre.
