The notation is quite free, with loose implications for pitch material, including the potential for multiphonics, microtones, glissandi, etc. The emphasis is primarily on the creation of flexible gestures. Visual art and design, as part of what the composer terms “Sound Morphology,” plays a significant role in this music.
