Composed in 2022, this moderately challenging pitch-centric work attempts to acoustically mimic the distortion associated with heavy metal music. It ascends only to Ab4, but requires considerable fluency with extended techniques, including multiphonics, tremolos, singing while playing, miscellaneous distortion effects, flutter-tonguing, and biting the reed at the conclusion of the performance.
