Description
This challenging atonal piece was composed in 2021 and premiered by Rocio Yllescas at the 2021 Virtual Symposium of the IDRS. The music operates in different strata, and consequently is very angular with numerous leaps between extreme registers, up to E5. Extended techniques include flutter-tonguing, pitch-bending, glissandi, tremolos, and a single multiphonic.
