Description
This piece was composed in 2020-21 as part of the IDRS 50 for 50 Commissioning Project, and premiered by Ben Roidl-Ward at the 2021 Virtual Symposium of the IDRS. This is a very challenging avant-garde piece consisting exclusively of extended techniques, including harmonics, pitch-bending, glissandi, microtones, and timbral trills, and requires especially exacting control of multiphonics. It requires a high G5 and a mute as well.
