Description
This moderately challenging piece was composed in 2019. The pitch-centric movements, which may be played in any order or combination, reflect their titles via different types of music style and/or idiom, such as a swaggering jazz/funk for “The Confidence” and a wistful waltz for “The Tenderness.” The upper register is not used extensively although there is a D5, and extended techniques (key clicks and flutter tonguing) are sparingly used.
