Description
This is a graphic score composed in 2017. The notation is quite free, with loose implications for pitch material, including the potential for multiphonics, microtones, glissandi, etc. While the emphasis is primarily on the creation of flexible gestures, rhythmic notation is more detailed than other parameters. Visual art and design, as part of what the composer terms “Sound Morphology,” plays a significant role in this music; it is in fact dedicated to designer and architect Ettore Sottsass.
