Description
This piece was composed in 2015, for either bass clarinet or bassoon. The bassoon version was premiered by Kylie Nesbit on May 28 of that year in Karlsruhe, Germany. The moderately challenging pitch centric movements span the full range, and vary distinctly in character, tending to be more disjunct melodically. The final movement, “Trifle,” was dedicated to Davon Yasamune Toyotomi.
