Wolfgang: Dual Identity

This piece was composed in 2005 and dedicated to Judith Farmer.  It is somewhat pitch-centric and jazz-rock informed, especially in the outer sections of the ternary structure.   The range extends to Db5, and there are three multiphonics with suggested fingerings.  Performers are encouraged to experiment, however.  No other extended techniques are required.  This is a moderately challenging and fun piece.
