Description
These challenging character pieces were written in an atonal avant-garde style of the late 1960s and early 70s. Extended techniques (key slaps, multiphonics, quarter-tones, pitch-bending, tongue slaps and considerable pitch and rhythmic indeterminacy) are included. The music is very motivic and cell-based, and the range extends at least to Eb5. Instructions for the extended techniques are provided.
