Description
Composed for Jeffrey Lyman in 1994, this challenging atonal piece is divided into alternating lyrical and very rapid technical sections. The range extends to D5, and multiphonics (with suggested fingerings from Bartolozzi) are required. The piece was required for the 2018 Fernand Gillet-Hugo Fox Bassoon Competition, sponsored by the IDRS.
