Description
This piece was composed in Budapest in 1980, and dedicated to Gabor Janota. The music is atonal and serial, but with considerable freedom in the treatment of the row in this rondo-like composition. The music is predominantly lyrical and is only moderately challenging technically, although it does ascend to Eb5.
