Description
This piece was composed in Kiev in 1962. The music is atonal, with motivic material derived primarily from trichord cells. Portions of the work are polyphonic, with two staves employed to delineate the lines. The music is austere and primarily angular over the full range to Eb5. Other than the range, the music is moderately challenging. All titles and instructions are notated in Russian only.
