Description
This is one of the last pieces Scelsi wrote, in 1976. The music is atonal and rather minimalist in its conception, using only six notes with octave doublings, (written G2 chromatically up to C2) with microtones, the only extended technique employed, between them. The composer intended it to be played by the lowest instrument of any family. It is moderately challenging played on contra.
