Description
This piece was composed in 1965 for Martin Verdrager, and first performed by him in September of that year, at the Juilliard School. It was revised in 1972. The music is atonal and emphasizes the lyrical qualities of the instrument. It is moderately challenging, and the upper limit is only written Eb4.
