This moderately challenging work was composed in 1992 for Lorelei Dowling and first performed by her. It was revised in May 2008. The music is pitch-centric, ascends to C#5, and covers a wide emotional spectrum with performance instructions such as ‘Whimsically,” “Sadly,” “Spiky,” and “boisterously.”
